Your consultation
Every treatment starts with a consultation. We take a full medical history, look closely at your skin and talk honestly about what you would like to achieve, so we only recommend treatment that is safe and right for you. We will assess your face, explain which areas would benefit and which products we recommend, and go through the risks with you in detail.
The treatment
A numbing cream is applied first for your comfort. The filler is then placed precisely using a fine needle or cannula. Depending on the areas treated and the amount of filler, the appointment takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Aftercare
Any redness usually settles within hours and you can return to normal activities soon after. For 24 hours, avoid intense exercise, make-up and alcohol, and avoid extreme heat or cold for a week. Avoiding smoking helps your skin heal. Read our full aftercare advice.
Your results
You will see results immediately. Depending on the product and area treated, they last 6 to 18 months, as the filler is gradually and naturally broken down by your body. Side effects are usually mild, such as soreness, swelling or bruising. Smoking, metabolism and other individual factors can affect how long results last.
