Every treatment starts with a consultation. We take a full medical history, look closely at your skin and talk honestly about what you would like to achieve, so we only recommend treatment that is safe and right for you. We will assess your lips and face and be honest and realistic about the results you can achieve.
The treatment
A numbing cream is applied to your lips first. The filler is then placed using a fine needle or cannula. Some people prefer to build up their look gradually over more than one session. The appointment takes around 45 minutes.
Aftercare
Mild swelling, tenderness and possibly bruising are normal and settle within days. For 24 hours, keep your lips hydrated and avoid touching them, heat treatments, intense exercise, make-up and alcohol. Avoiding smoking helps healing. Read our full aftercare advice.
Your results
Results typically last 3 to 12 months, as the filler is naturally broken down by your body. It usually takes a few weeks for your lips to fully settle. We believe less is more, adding only what is needed, with the option of a top-up later if you would like one.
