The Perfect Peel is a revolutionary medium-depth, medical-grade chemical peel that will transform your skin into looking younger, healthier, and clearer in just one week. It works from the inside to repair and nourish the skin, refine pores, improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, lift melasma, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve acne, and acne marks.
The Perfect Peel blends glutathione, kojic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, and a blend of minerals and vitamins, including vitamin C. Glutathione is the ultimate antioxidant, penetrating deep into the cellular level of your skin to fight oxidant damage. It is proven to reverse melanin metabolism, which helps to improve post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Kojic acid is a powerful lightening agent and proven to increase collagen and elastin production, resulting in skin that is brighter and tighter. TCA, phenol, and retinoic acid reduce the appearance of wrinkles and correct pigmentary problems, while salicylic acid exfoliates the skin and reduces inflammation. The Perfect Peel Plus Booster is used in conjunction with The Perfect Peel. It contains a synergistic blend of ingredients as The Perfect Peel, but at a higher concentration, making it 25% stronger than The Perfect Peel. It is an excellent addition for treating stubborn hyperpigmentation and melasma, thick, resilient skin, actinic keratosis, and age spots.
The Perfect Peel Clear Booster is an excellent addition for patients with moderate to severe acne scars on the face, chest, back, or any body area. It contains Benzoyl peroxide, glutathione, TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, hydrocortisone, and Vitamin C.
Technique
Your skin will be assessed during your consultation. The Perfect Peel requires no special pre-peel skin preparation. On the day of your skin peel treatment, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed, followed by the application of the chemical peel. You will be given an individual homecare kit that contains retinol wipes and a post-peel moisturizer to assist the peeling process and enhance your results. Aftercare advice and a follow-up appointment will be provided for optimum results. You may experience some soreness or tingling during the application.
Procedure
The skin peel procedure generally lasts from 45 minutes
Downtime
Medium-depth peels usually take seven days for healing;
Days 1-2: Application of The Perfect Peel begins the process of removing skin imperfections
Days 3-5: Peeling begins, rejuvenating the skin. Improving hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, and fine lines and wrinkles
Days 6-7: Peeling completes, revealing new skin.
Results
Results may vary, and rely upon adherence to aftercare advice and follow-up treatments to maintain and prolong results. It is also key to use the recommended or prescribed skincare products, complete your prescribed treatment course, and maintain good self-care, such as hydration and sun protection. You will experience itching and peeling afterward. However, skin picking must be avoided, as this can lead to irritation and scarring. While extremely rare, scarring, infection, and discolouration may occur following your peel.
