Sunekos
Your Treatment
You have had an anti-ageing injection treatment with Sunekos. Sunekos uses a patented formula which combines amino acids with hyaluronic acid. It regenerates the Extracellular Matrix (ECM) of your skin. It’s a perfect treatment for those who wish for a more natural solution to skin quality improvements.
What to Expect
Your skin may be feel tender, red and swollen.
You may experience some bruising at the treatment site. This is normal and should resolve after a few days.
You may experience swelling at the treatment site. This should settle within 24 hours.

Post Treatment Aftercare Advice
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated site for 6 hours. This helps to reduce the risk of infection by allowing the micro-prick sites to close.
Keep hydrated - drink at least 2L of water daily
Avoid applying make up to the treated area for 12 hours after treatment
Avoid consuming alcohol for 24 hours after treatment
Avoid strenous exercise for 48 hours after treatment
Avoid extreme temperatures (e.g. cold, heat, sunbathing, tanning, saunas etc) for 7 days
Apply SPF 50+ sunscreen every two hours during the day
Avoid smoking
If swelling persists, you may apply a clean, cold compress to the area.
Possible Risks, Complications and Side Effects
Hypersensitivity, mild swelling and tenderness
Lump formation around the treated area
Redness: this is normal and usually resolves soon after. If the treatment areas becomes red a few days after treatment, particularly if heat is also present, this may indicate an infection. Please contact the clinic immediately.
Bruising, although rare
Infection following treatment. However this risk is reduced as we adhere to strict infection control protocols.
Lumps: it is normal to have visible lumps at the injection sites. These resolve after a few hours, but may be present for up to 48 hours, appearing worse the morning after your treatment.
Possibility of vascular occlusion (filler injected into a blood vessel, blocking blood flow to the skin area), leading to localized tissue death (necrosis) and/or sloughing, with scab and/or without scab. You may experience skin soreness, coldness, numbing and discolouration. Please contact the clinic immediately in this instance.
Extremely rare risk of blindness if arterial occlusion occurs in certain facial regions - Glabella, Nasolabial folds and the Nose.
Limited or non-response to treatment
Follow up Information
We recommed a course of four treatments, 7-10 days apart. Treatment results generally become apparent after the first treatment, but may take up to 12 weeks for the full effects to become apparent.**
To achieve full effect of your treatment, it is important that you attend all recommended treatment sessions
