What is The Perfect Peel?

The Perfect Peel is a medical-grade, medium-depth peel, which is effective in improving the appearance of your skin. It can be used on all skin types. It combines Glutathione, kojic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), retinoic acid, phenol, salicylic acid, and a blend of minerals and vitamins.

How does The Perfect Peel compare to other chemical peels?

The Perfect Peel combines intense ingredients with effective acids to deliver consistent results after just a few treatments. This unique formula allows for the improvement of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as improving pigmentation and acne.

How many treatments are necessary for visible improvement?

After one treatment of The Perfect Peel, overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing, and fresh. Depending on your skin condition, multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve your desired results. A series of 3-4 treatments applied once every 4 weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as melasma and active acne.

How long will my results last?

Improved results will last as long as the skin is maintained with good quality skin care products and sun protection.

What skin types respond well to The Perfect Peel?

All skin types are safe to treat and will reveal considerable improvements from The Perfect Peel.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

  • 2 weeks before your treatment, do not apply topical retinoids, exfoliating or products containing active acids, such as Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), Beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs), and Poly-hydroxy acids (PHAs) to the treatment area.

  • Patients on prescribed Roaccutane must stop usage 6 months before treatment.

  • If you are unwell on the day of your treatment, please contact us to reschedule your appointment

  • Please inform us before receiving treatment if there are any changes to your medical history or medication.

Does The Perfect Peel burn?

You may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation, which will subside within 30-45 seconds. A fan or cool breeze may be used for comfort.

How long will the application process take?

The Perfect Peel application only takes 15 minutes to administer.

How severe is the peeling, and what is the duration of the peeling process?

The amount of peeling skin associated with The Perfect Peel is primarily a shedding of thin sheets of the top layer of your skin, which begins around day three and is generally complete by day six or seven.

What will I look like during The Perfect Peel treatment process and post peel?

Immediately after the peel has been applied, your skin may appear red, like a sunburn, or darker. Peeling will begin on day three. By day six or seven, the peeling process should be complete and the results are visibly astonishing.

Will my daily routine be affected after the treatment?

Normal activities may be resumed soon after your peel. We recommend avoiding heavy exercise, excessive sweating during the peeling process. Please follow your post-peel instructions.

Can makeup be worn post peel?

Makeup may be worn on day 2 of the peeling process. Avoid application of makeup or any products (except the Homecare kit) on the treated area post peel.

How many treatments are required?

The Perfect Peel may be applied every 4 weeks if necessary until the desired results are achieved. Thereafter, we recommend every 4 months to maintain improved skin results and to reduce the effects of environmental damage.

Can The Perfect Peel be applied to other parts of the body other than the face?

The Perfect Peel can be applied to other areas of the body, including your face, neck, chest, back, and hands. However, the process and results may not be similar to the face.

Will The Perfect Peel help improve acne and acne scars?

The Perfect Peel formula was designed to help improve various problematic skin conditions, including acne. The Perfect Peel helps minimise the damage and scarring caused by acne. Glutathione helps increase cellular turnover to dramatically improve stubborn acne scars. A series of peels will be necessary to diminish active acne damage and scarring.

How many treatments are necessary to treat acne scars?

Depending on the severity of the scarring, a series of 3-4 peels every 4 weeks will be required for optimal results. The number of treatments will also depend on how vigorously the layers are applied.

How will The Perfect Peel help improve my skin?

The Perfect Peel will help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduce enlarged pores, stimulate collagen and elastin production, which will help to tighten and firm your skin. It will reduce hyperpigmentation and melasma. Acne and acne scars will be dramatically improved. The treatment fights free radical damage to remove discolouration due to sun damage, and even out overall skin tone and complexion.

Will my skin be sensitive post chemical peel?

Your skin will be more sensitive during the peeling process until the pH level is replenished.

Is sun exposure permitted post chemical peel?

Sun exposure should be limited or avoided before and during the peel process to avoid uneven exposure. Broad-spectrum nSPF 30+ should be applied regularly during the day.
